Motojima to become new ITER head

Osamu Motojima has been tapped as the new director general of the ITER Organization for an international project to build a nuclear fusion reactor in France, replacing Kaname Ikeda, according to science ministry officials. The appointment was made at the ITER Council’s extraordinary meeting held in Cadarache, southern France, on Wednesday, according to the Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry
